Bloomington police seeking clues in shooting death

Bloomington police are looking for video surveillance and tips that could aid in their investigation into the recent shooting death of a local businesswoman.

Pamela Zimmerman, a 53-year-old accountant and financial planner, died from multiple gunshot wounds. Her body was found Tuesday morning in her Bloomington office. Police are asking for home or business surveillance video recorded in the area between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning.

Police said in a statement Thursday that they're currently examining evidence that could be related to the investigation. Police also searched the exterior grounds of Beer Nuts and surrounding properties for the third time Thursday. A police spokeswoman declined to comment on the searches.

Another police spokeswoman tells reporters that "everything possible is being done regarding the investigation."
