A group of local organizations in Lincoln will soon be pooling their resources and merging as one.
The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Lincoln, and the Logan County Tourism Bureau are joining forces in an effort to better assist Logan County. Andi Hake is the current Executive Director of the Chamber, she explains the merger should be of great benefit to the community as well as local businesses by reducing redundancies between the organizations.
While each group has their own mission, Hake explains the combined goals are now the same. The number one goal for the merger is to find a common brand and message for Logan County.
Tthe Chamber will still not stop their devotion to local businesses, however, Development Services may be added through the City of Lincol which Hake notes means a major emphasis will be placed on tourism due to the economic growth it could bring.
Hake explains the merge will allow there to be a "one-stop shop" for visitors to Logan County who need to gather information. She says the full merge will occur officially sometime this month or in December.
