The Blackhawks used a three-goal first period to power their way to a 5-2 win over the Sharks at the United Center.  Jonathan Toews [[ taves ]] scored his sixth goal of the year and assisted on another while Brent Seabrook lit the lamp as well for Chicago, which has won two of three.  Trevor van Riemsdyk [[ van-REEMS-dike ]], Bryan Bickell [[ BICK-ull ]] and Niklas Hjalmarsson [[ JAHL-mer-sun ]] also scored and Corey Crawford stopped 32-of-34 shots.  Joe Pavelski scored twice while Antti Niemi [[ AHN-tee nee-EM-ee ]] had 32 saves for the Sharks, who have lost three of their last five.
