That victory catapulted the Redbirds (8-1, 5-1 MVFC) back into the Top 10 of both national Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) polls announced Monday.

The Redbirds advanced five spots to No. 7 in the FCS Coaches Poll and moved up four spots to No. 8 in The Sports Network FCS Top 25 following their win over the Penguins.
