The Knicks put an end to their seven-game losing streak with a 109-93 win over the Nuggets at Madison Square Garden. Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith had 28 points apiece for the Knicks, who outscored Denver 31-8 in the second quarter. Anthony also grabbed nine rebounds in the win. Arron Afflalo had 18 points to pace the Nuggets, who have dropped seven-of-eight. Ty Lawson finished with 17 points and nine assists in the loss.
