(Undated) -- Alabama is the new number-one team in the latest College Football Playoff Rankings. The Crimson Tide moves up four spots after defeating then-top-ranked Mississippi State 25-20 in Tuscaloosa on Saturday. The Bulldogs drop from first to fourth, while Oregon and Florida State remains second and third, respectively. Despite a victory, TCU falls out of the top four to fifth. Ohio State, Baylor, Ole Miss, UCLA and Georgia round out the top 10. Arizona State falls seven spots from sixth to 13th after losing to Oregon State. The semifinal matchups will be announced on Sunday, December 7th. The semifinals will be played on January 1st at the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl. The National Championship Game will take place January 12th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

>>USC Reinstates Josh Shaw To Football Team

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Josh Shaw is back on the USC football team. The university has announced Shaw has been reinstated to the Trojans squad, nearly three months after he was suspended for fabricating a story about how he injured his ankles. Shaw initially said he leaped from a balcony to save his seven-year-old nephew from a swimming pool. It was later discovered Shaw had dropped from the balcony to try and escape police who were coming to check out a possible domestic dispute between Shaw and his girlfriend. It's unclear if Shaw will play in USC's annual rival game against UCLA this weekend.

 width=>>Michigan Dismisses Player Following Domestic Violence Arrest

(Ann Arbor, MI) -- Michigan defensive end Frank Clark is no longer a member of the football program following his arrest on domestic violence charges over the weekend. Head coach Brady Hoke dismissed Clark and suspended him for violation of team rules. MLive.com reports the senior defensive end punched his girlfriend in the face after an altercation at a hotel in Sandusky, Ohio. Clark leads the 5-and-5 Wolverines with 13-and-a-half tackles for loss. He has 42 tackles and four and-a-half sacks through 10 games. This is Clark's second arrest during his tenure at U-of-M.
