We're away from the state championships for football in Champaign, and several local teams are seeking to punch their tickets to Memorial Stadium following Thanksgiving.
In Class 2A, it's a matchup of a former-Okaw Valley school, Tuscola, now a member of the Central Illinois Conference, and Maroa-Forsyth.
The Trojans enter play at 9-3, after an impressive 44-6 win over Athens last Saturday. The Trojans have also beat Sangamon Valley and Tri-Valley to get to this Saturday's action.
For Tuscola, they've defeated Shelbyville, Lawrenceville, and Chester.
Action is set for Saturday at 2 pm in Tuscola.
