It is the time of the year where school districts get an overview from the state on their students performances, and one local school district saw improvements in many categories.
Cerro Gordo Schools have seen typical results in the last school year and Superintendent Brett Robinson says there will always be highs and lows on each report. He feels many areas of the district perform above-average.
There are several aspects to Cerro Gordo Schools that gives them many advantages. According to Robinson, the district is able to offer many programs larger schools do, however, they are small enough for students to receive more individualized attention from their faculty.
Robinson sees the report card as a catalysts that allows Cerro Gordo to focus on areas of improvement.
