The Monticello Lady Sages scored 47 first half points Monday night in Monticello as they routed the Clinton Lady Maroons 68-36.

The Lady Sages drained 8 3-point baskets, five from Layne Buzan, who led all scorers with 29 points.

The Lady Maroons were led by Jessica Scott with 18 points and was the only Clinton scorer in double-figures Monday.

Buzan was also the only double-figures scorer for the Lady Sages.

With the loss, the Lady Maroons fall to 3-2 overall.
