Bobby Ryan scored the only goal of the shootout to give the Senators a 3-2 comeback win over the Blues. Ottawa forced extra time when Alex Chiasson scored with 41 seconds left in the third period. Erik Condra also scored in the third period for the Sens, who had lost their previous two. Robin Lehner made 27 saves in the victory. Ian Cole and Alexander Steen had the goals for St. Louis. Brian Elliott stopped all 16 shots he faced before leaving with a lower body injury. Jake Allen stopped 15 shots, but allowed both goals and the game-winner in the shootout.
