More Than 50% Of Google Ads Are Never Seen

Google is admitting that no one ever sees more than half the ads it puts out.  A study just released by the search engine and digital display advertising giant says more than 56-percent of the ads on Google display platforms are never seen by anyone.  That's because the ads are displayed outside of the browser window.  The study says the best viewing spot for an ad is just above the "fold," or the lowest point on the page before a user has to scroll.  But that "above the fold" location isn't always viewable on all browsers -- meaning that if the user doesn't scroll, the ad isn't seen.
