Deadline To Mail Soldiers Packages For Holidays Fast-Approaching

The deadline for people to mail packages and cards to soldiers in time for Christmas is fast-approaching. David Rupert is regional spokesman for the U.S. Postal Service in Denver.

The deadline to mail priority and first-class cards, letters and packages to soldiers around the world, to make it by the holiday, is December 10th. He says this holiday season, it's expected people around the country will mail about 470-million packages, many of them going to military members. People can visit usps.com to find out about holiday mailing.
