Richland Community College is encouraging current and potential students to take advantage of their current open registration.
Current students should have or be currently meeting with their academic advisor according to Director of Registration Rob Kerr. Most students are able to register online for spring courses and new students can find online applications. Kerr mentions once applications are completed, they will be contacted regarding the next step.
Kerr notes all initial steps can be done online which assists student who live out of state. High demand courses have also become more accessible due to online services.
Richland requires students to initially meet with an academic advisor while several colleges are doing away with them. Kerr says they believes these relationships are important during the first year of college, especially during registration time.
Kerr also encourages students to stay on top of their FAFSA forms and financial aid during registration periods. For more information or to register online, you can go to www.richland.edu/registration.
