(Undated) -- The college football bowl season resumed Monday with a wild affair in the inaugural Miami Beach Bowl. BYU quarterback Christian Stewart threw a game-ending interception to seal a 55-48 win for Memphis in double-overtime at Marlins Park. Memphis improved 10-and-3 in a game sullied by a postgame brawl that involved many players from both teams. It is the Tigers' first bowl victory since 2005.

The bowl season continues Tuesday with two games on the slate. Marshall meets Northern Illinois in the Boca Raton Bowl in Florida, while Navy takes on San Diego State in the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl.
