(Atlanta, GA) -- The Atlanta Braves are adding catching depth. MLB.com reports the team and backstop A.J. Pierzynski [[ peer-ZIN-skee ]] have agreed to a one-year deal. The 37-year-old hit .251 with five home runs in 102 games last season between the Red Sox and Cardinals. The 17-year vet is expected to help Evan Gattis transition to the outfield and backup Christian Bethancourt.

(Baltimore, MD) -- The Baltimore Orioles are brining back veteran slugger Delmon Young. MASNSports.com reports the O's and the former number-one overall draft pick have agreed on a one-year, 2.25-million-dollar contract. Young hit .302 with seven home runs in 83 games during his first season in Baltimore.
