Pau Gasol led the way with 23 points and 13 rebounds, while Jimmy Butler added 21, six boards and five assists. Derrick Rose contributed 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting for Chicago, which has won five in-a-row and eight of nine. Kobe Bryant sat out a second consecutive game as the Lakers have gone 1-and-1. Wesley Johnson posted a team-high 19 points. Ed Davis compiled a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds in the defeat.
