Will Cheap Oil Kill Fracking in Illinois

Did Illinois miss its window for fracking?

It was high oil prices that had companies finding profits in the shale and oil sand fields across this country, but the price of oil has plummeted in recent months. Oil was in the $60 a barrel range before the new year.
If Illinois misses out, Denzler says there has to be a recognition that a two year delay by Gov. Pat Quinn’s office may be to blame.
