Year One of Concealed Carry Skips Doomsday Scenarios

Fears that the arrival of concealed carry legislation would restore a 19th Century Wild West atmosphere to Illinois have been unfounded. No major problems have been reported with the law. Roughly 90,000 people across the state have been approved to travel with a gun in public. Illinois was the last holdout state without a concealed carry law. Illinois finally relented after a court ordered the state to adopt such a plan.
