Bids for another presidential library in the state are perhaps in jeopardy. A few reports say there’s trouble for the two bids in Chicago for President Barack Obama's library. The Barack Obama Foundation, a group screening the bids, says they have concerns about the pair of proposals. The first from the University of Chicago, the problem there is the University can’t guarantee can secure the land for where it’s proposing to build the library. The second bid, from the University of Illinois at Chicago is troublesome because of the current change in leadership at the University. The Illinois bids are competing against Honolulu and New York.
