Rodney Davis Talks GOP Priorities

 width=Congressman Rodney Davis says jobs are high on the GOP agenda as the new Congress prepares to meet for its first session next week.

Davis says with Republicans controlling both chambers of Congress, the economy will be the first order of business.

Davis says the new Congress is willing to work with the White House.

The Illinois Republican delivered his party's weekly address Saturday. Davis vowed to focus on legislation to create jobs and help small businesses grow. That includes a bill Davis sponsored that would offer incentives to businesses that hire veterans. The 114th Congress will gavel in on Tuesday. New members of the House and Senate will be sworn-in and the House is expected to re-elect Ohio Republican John Boehner [[ BAY-nur ]] as Speaker.
