Bulls Run Past Rockets

 width=Pau Gasol poured in 27 points and pulled down 14 rebounds as the Bulls ran past the Rockets, 114-105, in Chicago. Jimmy Butler added 22 points for the Bulls, who outscored the Rockets 31-16 in the fourth quarter to earn their third straight win. Derrick Rose had 19 points and nine assists in the win. Josh Smith finished with 21 points for Houston, which has dropped two-of-three. James Harden scored 20 while Dwight Howard had 12 points and 14 boards in the loss.

(Undated) -- The Cavaliers are adding depth at the wing and shaking up the roster. Cleveland added Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith from the Knicks in a three-team trade Monday night. The Cavs send Dion Waiters to the Thunder, while New York gets Alex Kirk and Lou Amundson from Cleveland, along with Lance Thomas from Oklahoma City. The Knicks are expected to waive Kirk and Amundson, but the status of Lance Thomas is currently unknown. Cleveland also gets a protected first-round pick from OKC.
