Illinois educators are letting their voices be heard in regards to state-wide education.
Vision 20/20 is a new initiative dedicated to the betterment of education in Illinois. The plan has been developed by local school officials including superintendents and principals and Susan Wilson, Superintendent of Blue Ridge Schools, explains Vision 20/20 sets solid groundwork for the future of schools in Illinois.
Vision 20/20 addresses important issues including school funding and regulations. Wilson notes school funding is desperately needed in Illinois and the program provides common sense ideas to confront the issue.
Illinois lawmakers and educators are already engaging in talks regarding the initiative and Wilson stresses it will be parents and educators that will make the difference though.
