Blues, Blackhawks Win

(St. Louis, MO) -- David Backes [[ back-es ]], Jori Lehtera [[ leh-TARE-uh ]], T.J. Oshie, Paul Stastny [[ STAZ-nee ]] and Alexander Steen all recorded a goal and an assist as the Blues blew out the Sharks 7-2 from St. Louis. Patrik Berglund and Jay Bouwmeester [[ BOE-mee-stir ]] also scored for St. Louis, which has won three straight. Jaden Schwartz had three assists for the Blues while Brian Elliott made 24 saves. Logan Couture and Melker Karlsson scored for San Jose, which had won two straight. Antti Niemi [[ AHN-tee nee-EM-ee ]] allowed five goals while Alex Stalock gave up two in the loss.

>>Blackhawks Beat Wild In Minnesota

(St. Paul, MN) -- Bryan Bickell scored twice including an empty-netter in the final minute as the Blackhawks beat the Wild 4-2 at Xcel Energy Center. Patrick Kane and Patrick Sharp both scored in the first period for Chicago, which has won four of six. Corey Crawford made 42 saves in the victory. Jason Zucker and Jason Pominville lit the lamp for the Wild, who have lost three in-a-row. Niklas Backstrom allowed three goals on 19 shots in defeat.
