As a new General Assembly was sworn in earlier this week, a local lawmaker could not help but express his optimism and excitement.

State Representative Adam Brown was sworn into office on behalf of the 102nd District on Wednesday, declaring an eagerness to truly bring reform to the state’s budget and spending policies alongside Governor Bruce Rauner.
