Another day – another executive order from new Governor Bruce Rauner.

The Governor is asking state agencies and contractors to report the number of minorities and veterans in training and apprentice programs. The order Rauner says is a step to solve the “way too high” unemployment rate for minorities and veterans.

The new order applies to labor groups, contractors and sub contractors that work with the state. He wants the data back in 30 days.
