Three Monticello starters scored in double figures, dominated the boards and the Sages topped Maroa - Forsyth 62-47 Friday night in Monticello. Zach Fisher once again led the Sages with 24 points, seven boards and four assists.
Clay Becker added 12 points and seven boards. Noah Freemon had 11 points and five rebounds. Daniel Caldwell had eight points and five rebounds and the Sages outrebounded the Trojans 34-21.
The Trojans were led by Brody Adreon with 17 points. Blake Bryan added 13 points.
The Trojans drop to 3-14 and are 0-3 in the new Okaw Valley Conference.
The Sages won their fourth straight and are 11-3 overall and move to 3-0 in the Okaw.
Monticello is back in action tomorrow night hosting Macon-Meridian.
