Noah Freemon went off for 26 points and Monticello beat Meridian 58-47 Saturday night in non-conference game action.Despite three starters scoring in double figures, 16 turnovers led to 18 Sages points.
Judah Renfro registered a double-double with 12 and 11 rebounds. Dalton Collins led the Hawks with 13 points. Quan Bradford has 11 points and nine rebounds.
Zach Fisher had 16 points for the Sages as the only other player in double figures.
Monticello picked up their fifth straight victory and move to 12-3 overall.
Meridian falls to 13-7.
The Sages will host Warrensburg-Latham Tuesday night.
