The Cincinnati Reds are locking up catcher Devin Mesoraco to a long-term deal. The two sides have avoided arbitration by agreeing to a four-year contract worth a reported 28-million-dollars. The 26-year-old was a first-time All-Star last season, batting .273 with 25 home runs and 80 RBI in just 114 games. Mesoraco was selected with the 15th overall pick in the 2007 draft. He's a career .245 hitter with 41 home runs in parts of four seasons with Cincinnati.
