Blues, Blackhawks Off Until Late This Week

(St. Louis, MO) -- The NHL All-Star break is over, but the Blues still have a few more days before their next game. They return to the rink Thursday night at home against Nashville. The Blues have won seven of their last eight games and have 62 points, three behind the Predators atop the Central Division.

(Chicago, IL) -- The Blackhawks will return from the All-Star break and clash with the Kings on Friday. The affair is the opener of a six-game road trip for Chicago, which entered the break three points out of first place in the Central Division.

Columbus Blue Jackets forwardRyan Johansen, Ottawa Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson and Minnesota Wild forward Zach Parise were named the NHL's players of the week on Monday.

Johansen was selected as the First Star after being named -- by a fan vote on Twitter -- the MVP of the 2015 NHL All-Star Game in his home city. He had two goals and two assists for Team Foligno in a 17-12 loss to Team Toews.

Karlsson picked up the Second Star after scoring three goals in two games prior to the league's All-Star break.

Parise also scored three goals to garner the Third Star.
