The Dr. John Warner Hospital in Clinton continues their search for management of the city-owned hospital.
According to interim-CEO Rex McKinney, the hospital has narrowed down their search to a couple firms and he calls the Board's search "dilligent" with no imminent decision near.
McKinney says having a management firm operate the hospital can be of great advantage for them. He explains management firms have a great deal of resources to keep up on the latest in regulations and technololgy and even access to additional programming.
McKinney stresses the Board has no decisions made and continues to evaluate all their options. He notes they plan to keep the community informed as the evaluation process plays out.
