The NBA announced on Sunday that Lillard will replace Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin on the Western Conference All-Star team. Griffin is schedule to undergo surgery to remove a staph infection from his right elbow on Monday. Lillard, who previously voiced his displeasure over not being named an All-Star this season, will be joined on the West squad by Portland teammate LaMarcus Aldridge.

He was also named to his second All-Star team this season.

(Sacramento, CA) -- The Sacramento Kings are still figuring out if they need to make a second in-season coaching change. According to Yahoo! Sports, George Karl's return to the NBA as Sacramento's head coach is at the "ownership level." The Kings front office met with interim head coach Tyrone Corbin after Sunday night's win against the Suns. The decision makers are advising the organization to agree to terms with Karl, who will have his representation continue discussions with the Kings today. Sacramento fired Mike Malone for Corbin earlier in the season.
