 width=>>Duke Survives Florida State Scare

Quinn Cook scored 26 points and No. 4 Duke held on to beat Florida State 73-70 on Monday night.

The Blue Devils have been upset often by Leonard Hamilton's Seminoles in the last 12 years and nearly let this one slip away, too.

They coughed up a 14-point lead early in the second half but made enough free throws down the stretch to secure a fourth consecutive win.

Tyus Jones added 16 points for Duke (21-3, 8-3 ACC), Jahlil Okafor scored 13 and Justise Winslow had 10.

Devon Bookert scored 17 of his career-high 23 points in the second half for the Seminoles (13-12, 5-7), who have beaten Duke six times since Hamilton took over in 2002, each time when the Blue Devils were ranked in the top 10.

>>Oklahoma State Tops Baylor

Le'Bryan Nash led the way with 22 points as No. 21 Oklahoma State defeated 16th-ranked Baylor 74-65 on Monday.

Phil Forte netted 18 points, Jeff Newberry scored 16 with six assists and Anthony Hickey supplied 12 points and seven helpers for the Cowboys (17-7, 7-5 Big 12), who completed their first season sweep of Baylor since 2006-07.

Taurean Prince finished with 20 points and Rico Gathers had 16 points on 6- of-9 shooting with 16 rebounds as the Bears (18-6, 6-5) had their three-game winning streak come to an end.

>>Oklahoma Drops Struggling Iowa State

TaShawn Thomas had 22 points, 11 rebounds and five assists as No. 17 Oklahoma defeated No. 14 Iowa State 94-83 on Monday night.

Ryan Spangler posted 14 points and 12 boards, Isaiah Cousins netted 19 points and Buddy Hield added 17 for the Sooners (17-7, 8-4 Big 12), who have won five straight on the heels of a 1-4 stretch.

The victory moved OU into sole possession of second place in the Big 12.

Dustin Hogue provided 19 points and Jameel McKay supplied 16 points and nine rebounds for Iowa State (17-6, 7-4), which has dropped two of its last three games.
