Coyotes Clip Blackhawks In Shootout

 width=Antoine Vermette [[ ANN-twan ver-MET ]] scored the winning goal in the shootout as the Coyotes clipped the Blackhawks 3-2 at the United Center. Vermette and Shane Doan tallied in regulation for Arizona, which has earned at least a point in four of its last five games. Mike Smith made 36 saves plus denied two-of-three shootout attempts for the win. Marian Hossa [[ HOE--suh ]] scored twice and Jonathan Toews [[ taves ]] posted two assists for the 'Hawks, who had won their previous two. Antti Raanta [[ AHN-tee RAHN-tuh ]] stopped 27 shots in the loss.

(St. Louis, MO) -- The Blues close out a two-game homestand tonight against the Coyotes. The Blues are coming off a 4-2 loss to the Blackhawks on Sunday and have dropped their last two games on the heels of a seven-game winning streak. Arizona snapped a two-game skid last night at Chicago.
