The Dr. John Warner Hospital Foundation, the fundraising arm of the city-owned hospital, is once again offering local students the chance at additional funding for their next step in education.

The Foundation's Belinda Rittenhouse Scholarship is now open to be applied for and it goes to qualified applicants in DeWitt County interested in a career in the medical field.

Applicants must be high school senior and enrolled in accredited college.

Completed applications must be returned no later than May 8th, 2015. Applicants will be considered on the basis of their need, scholastic ability and enthusiasm in pursuing a career in healthcare.
