Despite the frigid temperatures of late, a local entity is hoping you will pay them a visit with the cost paid for.
The Miller Park Zoo in Bloomington is again this February offering free Friday admission. According to Zoo Superintendent Jay Tetzloff, it's their way of giving back to those who may not get the opportunity regularly.
Within the last five years, the zoo has started this and Tetzloff recognizes February isn't the most ideal month to have such a promotion, however, he says the turnout has been very good the first two Friday's of this month.
Tetzloff notes the zoo recently received a pair of red wolves beleives they should be very active right now because it is their breeding season.
