 width=>>Giants' Bochy Admitted To Hospital

(Scottsdale, AZ) -- The San Francisco Giants have announced that manager Bruce Bochy was admitted to a local hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona. He underwent a heart procedure on Thursday in which two stents were inserted after he experienced discomfort during his physical exam on Wednesday. Bochy is currently resting comfortably and will be released from the hospital Friday.

(Arlington, TX) -- Texas Rangers infielder Jurickson Profar is in jeopardy of missing a second-consecutive full season. FOX Sports Southwest reports Profar is set to have surgery to repair a torn labrum. The former top prospect, who turns 22 on Friday, missed all of last season after twice tearing a muscle in his shoulder. Doctors reportedly recommended surgery as far back as September. Rougned Odor likely will be the Rangers' every day second baseman this season.
