Clinton Athletic Boosters Gearing Up For Maroon Madness

 width=The Clinton Athletic Boosters are gearing up for their biggest even of the year next weekend.

The fifth annual Athletic Booster's Maroon Madness event has become extremely popular and according to Booster President, Brian Ennis, at the end of the night, $10-thousand is given away.

The event is a reverse raffle that takes place throughout the night. Ennis notes the event is open to anyone graduated from high school. They will have horderves and drinks available as well as live entertainment.

The Clinton Athletic Boosters is the fundraising arm for the athletic programs at the junior high and high school level. Ennis says they've put a lot back into the programs from wrestling to football to cheerleading.

The event is Saturday evening March 7 starting at 5:30 at the Clinton Elks Club. Ennis says they have a limited amount of space left and encourages anyone interested to contact the Clinton Athletic Department to get more information.
