4-H International Night This Weekend

4-H members and their families will be a part of a special night with this weekend in Farmer City.

The DeWitt County 4-H International Night gives youth a chance to showcase what they have learned about a country they've studied. Youth Educator with the University of Illinois Extension office, Sherry Fulton indicates the groups set up informational areas about the country they've studied as a part of the night.

The 4-H leadership arm of DeWitt County, the 4-H Federation, hosts the event. Fulton says it is a great family event that draws all 4-H students from across the county together.

International Night has been a staple on the 4-H calendar for over a decade and Fulton indicates it continues to grow in numbers and popularity. She feels the event is so popular because it brings people together and is a good time.

The 4-H International Night starts at 5:30 pm Saturday night at the Farmer City Victory Christian Center.
