Bradley set to introduce Reynolds as new athletic director

Bradley University plans to introduce new athletic director Chris Reynolds on campus on Wednesday.

The private university in Peoria says it hired Reynolds from Northwestern to replace athletic director Michael Cross, who announced his resignation last month.

Reynolds is a Peoria native who has been Northwestern's deputy director of athletics and recreation since 2012. He previously spent nine years in a variety of positions at Indiana University.

Reynolds has bachelors, law and doctoral degrees from Indiana. He also played four seasons of basketball for the Hoosiers.

Reynolds was a two-time all-state basketball player at Peoria High and is a member of the Greater Peoria Sports Hall of Fame.
