ISU Resumes NIT Run At Old Dominion

width=After a first-round NIT win over Green Bay, Illinois State travels to Old Dominion for a second-round matchup with top-seeded Monarchs tonight at the Ted Constant Convocation Center.

ISU (22-12) has won seven of its last eight games.

Old Dominion (25-7) received an at-large bid after the NCAA Men's Basketball Committee announced the Monarchs as one of the "first four teams out" of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship field, ensuring ODU one of the NIT's four No. 1 seeds.
The Monarchs tied for second in Conference USA before falling in their conference tournament quarterfinals. Last week, they beat eighth-seeded Charleston Southern in the NIT first round.

Game time is set for 7 p.m. to be aired on ESPNU.

The winner meets the winner of tonight's third-seeded Murray State at second-seeded Tulsa game.
