Jay Peterson, owner of the Peterson Insurance Agency in Clinton, was the recipient of five company awards recently.

Peterson indicates they qualified for two awards apiece dealing with life and property and casualty insurance through Pekin Insurance. By getting those four awards, the Peterson Insurance Agency was then up for an "Agency of the Year", which they received.

These awards are not the first time Peterson's group has received in the past. He indicates they have received several before, and even all four at the same time, but this is their first "Agency of the Year" award.

Peterson believes their staff of eight is as strong as it's ever been in their office. He appreciates the community support that have and also attribute that to their success.

In March, Peterson and his staff were awarded the Robert T. Tebben "Agency of the Year" award at an annual banquet by the company.
