A real life "Field of Dreams" played out in Western Illinois over the weekend. And real life "Ghost Players" from Dyersville, Iowa and even three extras from the movie were in Reynolds to breath baseball back into the town's American Legion diamond.
Marv Maiers (myers)--one of the "Ghosts", had a good time participating in "Dreamers Day" on Saturday--which included a baseball clinic, comedy show and Dreamers Classic baseball game.

The Reynolds American Legion baseball field sat vacant and in disrepair last summer, but an organized effort has brought youth baseball back to town this summer.
