Sophie Catlin led the Monticello Sages past the Cerro Gordo-Bement Lady Broncos,
8-1, Tuesday afternoon in semi-final regional softball action.

Catlin went seven innings in circle, allowing a run on three hits, yielding three walks
and tallied 11 strikeouts. She also finished 3-for-4 with four RBIs, including a two-run
home run in the first inning.

Layne Buzan finished 3-for-4 with two RBIs and three runs scored.

Megan Magsaman added two RBIs in a 1-for-3 effort with a solo home run.
