Local Lawmakers Criticize Democrats For Overtime Session

Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner says he won't sign the 2016 budget approved by Democrats or consider a tax increase to close a $3 billion deficit until Democrats pass some of his priorities and local lawmakers are weighing in on the impasse in Springfield.

Republican Senator Chapin Rose says after a decade of dominance in the Illinois General Assembly, Democrats can't stop spending money. He criticizes them for not being willing to work with the Governor on spending reforms.
