Clinton's New Elementary School Waves Good Bye To Inaugural First Year

width=After the first year in their new building, leaders of the Clinton's one-year old Elementary School are reflecting on the first year in their facility.

Principal of Clinton Elementary School, Mary Diener believes one of the biggest advantages to bringing grades two-through five into one building is having all those teachers being able to work together now, all in one place.

The school year was ushered in with Grandparents Day. According to Diener, all students and their grandparents were served breakfast and then the students had the opportunity to show them their classroom and some of the things they were working on.

In the midst of the year's progression, the students were introduced to a new administrator. Dawn Timmerman was brought on as the school's Assistant Principal. She explains she's been in the district for a while, and moved into her role as assistant principal temporarily, then later it became permanent.
