Public sector budget mismanagement sends a bad signal to the private sector seeking a place to invest--that’s according to Illinois’ Governor.
Before the end of the regular scheduled session the Democrat-dominated General Assembly passed a spending plan of more than $36 billion when it’s estimated the state will only bring in around $32 billion. The Governor has said he is open to new revenue, but only if there are significant government reforms like term limits and changes to the redistricting process.

The Governor also is pushing for reforms to workers’ comp and civil liability cases.
