If you drive by Clinton High School this weekend, you might notice a lot of traffic near the football field.

Tha annual DeWitt County Relay For Life to benefit the American Cancer Society takes place from noon until midnight Saturday.

Relay For Life is a national, yearly event dedicated to those who are fighting cancer, to those who have fought and won the battle, and to honor those who have passed on from the evil disease.

Teams walk around the track of Clinton High School to represent the journey of someone with cancer.

14 teams make up this year's field and so far, of the 117 participants, they have raised just short of $17-thousand.
