Indiana is open to taking Illinois businesses away from the Land of Lincoln and that’s something some lawmakers want to stem in their efforts to turnaround Illinois.

Democrat majorities passed a workers’ comp measure Thursday that is headed to the Senate, where it’s expected to be amended and then kicked back to the House on concurrence. Governor Bruce Rauner said the measure he’s reviewed is not real reform. Lawmakers are in overtime as they try to work to get a balanced budget in place before the July 1st start to the next fiscal year.
