Time is running out for area schools to apply for a grant through the St. Louis District Dairy Council for upgrades to the cafeteria in area schools.

According to Monica Nyman with the St. Louis District Dairy Council, the program, “Dollars for Dairy in the Classroom”, provides funds to junior and senior high schools in central Illinois to cover the costs of purchasing dairy products for the classroom, including milk, cheese and yogurt.
