State Senator Darin LaHood continues to take big strides forward in the race for succeed ex-Congressman Aaron Schock. He was endorsed Monday by former Governor Jim Edgar.

Edgar says he was impressed by LaHood's past performance in Edgar Fellows, an executive leadership training program.

Edgar says he and wife Brenda will vote early and is encouraging others to follow suit in advance of the July 7th Republican Primary.
